Updates, Updates, Updates
Oh why hello there, welcome back ladies and gentlemen! Phew it has been a rough start to Year 10, getting used to the IGCSE curriculum and all. The subjects are getting increasingly tougher but luckily I am able to cope with it just fine. Just got my mid-term report card, pretty happy with it! Studies aside, there has been a lot happening in the world.
First off, the Ebola virus outbreak, and that might be the scariest thing I have heard in a long long time. Condolences go out to the people who have been affected by the Ebola outbreak, and to those families who have lost a beloved person in their lives. I really do hope the scientists come up with a cure for the virus, and I wish good luck to them on that.
On to a much more better note, as you all now I am a tech geek, and likes to keep up to date with all things technology. Recently Apple just unveiled their brand new products, The iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and the new iMacs, which outstandingly have 5K displays, to put that into perspective it is 14.7 million pixels on one scree, or 5 times the normal HD resolution, which is 1920x1080. That is absolutely insane, and is considered to be the highest quality of screen resolution out there, even beating TVs. I am interested into how they can cope with the immense load of energy that is need to power that iMac, because I know for a fact 14.7 million pixels comes with a lot of energy usage. I have just installed the new operating system onto my Macbook Air, which is OSX Yosemite. It works like a beauty, the new interface is really striking to look at and the system is even faster than before thanks to some system improvements included in this one of a kind package.
Welp thats all folks, until next time! Adios!
