An Emotional Start to the Year
Hello ladies and gentlemen, and a warm welcome back to my daily diary! I have been doing really good in school lately, but my school reports stated that I have gone worse in some areas, so I strive to improve after the Easter break, which I am happily enjoying now! In this post I want to talk about updates that has happened to me up until Easter, and frankly most of them are sad...
First up, one of my favourite TV shows, Top Gear, has sadly been removed from TV due to Jeremy Clarkson's firing, due to a "fracas" with the producers. To be honest when I heard this, I immediately burst into tears, because Top Gear was my childhood and I have grown up with the show since 2006... I miss the times when I would wait every Sunday for a new episode to come out, but that routine has sadly came to a close last month. Top Gear will return in 2016, but with new presenters. In my opinion, NOTHING could replace the synergy of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, as these three bundles of joy had transformed a boring old car show into the most factual TV programme in the world, with 350 million active viewers. All I wanna say is, thank you so much for all the memories, and I wish you guys good luck in the future! RIP Top Gear...
Second of all, I just watched Fast and Furious 7 last week, and I have to say it's one of the best movies I have ever seen, with a lot of impressive and breathtaking action sequences. While watching the movie, I started thinking about Paul Walker, the legendary actor who sadly died in a car accident 2 years ago (how ironic). This film gave a really sad and excellent tribute to the late actor, as towards the end of the film they played back all the memorable moments in the Fast and Furious series, and ends with the lead characters saying goodbye to each other, as they drive in separate directions... The ending gave me an aching heart and tears running down my face, as I couldn't comprehend how sad it was. I recommend everyone to go watch the film, as this film has a combination of heart pumping action and an emotional story.
That's all I have to say for now folks, I'll catch you all after I enjoy my deserved Easter break, adios!
Oh yeah and here's a rather emotional video for Paul Walker, the song used is included in the film..
