Reflection Time
Hey guys and welcome back! Let me start off by saying happy new year to everyone, yes it's the time to celebrate the achievements and look back at our ups and downs of 2016. To be honest 2016 was one of the worst years of my life, mainly due to the unexpected passing of my grandma as well as the passing of so many great actors, musicians and celebrities (Alan Rickman and Muhammad Ali to name a couple). If 2016 was a movie then it might as well be called "The Death Movie" because 2016 had a sick sense of humour. All in all I'm glad 2017 has come and this gives me the chance to start anew and seek new opportunities.
On another note I hope you guys had a good Christmas, as well as getting the presents you wanted all this time. It's a tradition for me to watch Home Alone every Christmas so I enjoyed watching it again, it's a timeless classic and probably the best Christmas movie out there.
Speaking of achievements, I finally finished my first semester of college. It was a rollercoaster ride and I can still remember the trouble I had adjusting to college life, but it somehow grew on me faster than expected. The new friends I made are all awesome and I can't wait to go through another semester with them. The exams were tough, way tougher than IGCSEs (except Maths hehe...). I just got my new timetable today and sadly I don't have any off days now, I used to have every Friday off but next semester I have classes everyday... Well it was good while it lasted.
Well that's all I wanted to say for now, again happy new year everyone and I hope this year will be better for all of us. Adios!
