NASA Space Apps Challenge
Hey guys and welcome back! It is nearing the end of my foundation year, 4 weeks left to be precise. Wow I guess time really likes to go fast eh? As for work wise, I'm being mauled with so many assignments now that I think I'm going to get PTSD by the end of it. Nevertheless, I somehow managed to manage time for each assignment and it's all going well now.
School aside, I recently entered the NASA Space Apps Challenge held in KLCC. It was basically a competition where they ask you to come up with an idea based on the topic they give you, in this case it's Earth this year, and create an app based on your idea. It was a fun and challenging experience that I will happily take and use for my next competition. My group thought we were going to get into the next round of the competition, we had our app prototype working and our idea seemed plausible, even our teacher told us that it was a brilliant idea. However, when we pitched our idea, we got one of those pesky judges who wasn't interested in our app or idea at all, instead all he was interested in was the business aspect of our idea. Because of this, we didn't get into the next round, bummer I know but at least we got all this valuable experience with us. Surprisingly another group from my class won the category on SNS (Social Networking System), so congrats to them!
So that was how my competition went in a nutshell, hopefully my next competition will be better than this one. Anyways that's all for this post, see ya guys next time. Adios
